The list of cultural monuments in Döberkitz includes the cultural monuments of the Bautzen district of Döberkitz that were recorded by the State Office for Monument Preservation of Saxony until March 2018 (excluding archaeological cultural monuments). The notes are to be observed.

Core 18th century (mansion) Local historical and landscape design significance. Manor house: three-storey solid plastered building with hipped roof, base plastered ashlar, wall-opening ratio largely intact, collar-eaves cornice, belt cornice. Text 1993: symmetrical structure, cornices over the ground floor and first floor, central emphasis by a round arched door portal with keystone-like crowning, old plaster ornaments removed, former keystones painted over windows, as well as plaster blocks. Disruptive factors: barrack-like fixtures from GDR times west of the manor house.

Description of the garden monument (Silke Epple, August 19, 2008):

Landscape park, end of the 19th century; Originally, the parcels 235, 357/3, 357/5, 357l, 357d, 357e belonged to the estate, the park extended to the parcel 357l.

  • Parts of the garden: landscape park, orchard and kitchen garden in the west of the property, formerly separated by a hedge
  • Structural assets:
    • Building: mansion
    • Enclosure: quarry stone wall (individual monument) made of granite on the east, south, west and in sections on the north side of the property
  • Development:
    • Entrances: main entrance northeast of the manor house, further entrances on the south side and on the southeast corner of the property
    • Path system: the rest of the historical path system still exists, access with granite paving along the northern border, semicircular path south of the manor house, path from the south-east corner entrance to the manor house, sunken path along the southern boundary
  • Vegetation:
    • Alleys and rows of trees: Row of oak (Quercus robur) along the semicircular path south of the manor house, avenue of winter linden (Tilia cordata) along the path from the south-east corner of the manor house, irregular row of trees mainly made of sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) on the ravine along the southern border
    • Groups of trees and individual trees: Old trees of sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), Norway maple (Acer platanoides) and winter lime (Tilia cordata) along the southern border, plane tree (Platanus x hispanica) and horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) on the terrace east of the manor
  • Other protected assets:
    • Ground relief: terrace-like structure east of the manor house, followed by lowered terrain to the east
  • Disruptive factors: barrack-like fixtures from GDR times west of the manor house

Remarks

  • This list is not suitable for deriving binding statements on the monument status of an object. As far as a legally binding determination of the listed property of an object is desired, the owner can apply to the responsible lower monument protection authority for a notice.
