Transformer house Görnitz
(map)
around 1920 Unchanged, preserved transformer building, defining the image, as a testimony to the electrification of the place of technical and local historical importance.

Transformer house, small type of construction of the then local electricity company, probably built after the 1st World War. Plastered building with hipped roof and tower structure, this one with a pyramid roof. The small functional building has been preserved in its original form and has been renovated in the past few years to meet the requirements of historical monuments. As a testimony to the electrification of the place, which was of extraordinary importance for the general living and working conditions in the village, the transformer building is of local and technological importance. Stable house of a former farm Görnitz 2
(map)
18th century Half-timbered building typical of the time and landscape (today plastered) with a massive ground floor of architectural value.

Last part of what was once a large courtyard. Probably 18th century. Two-storey with a rectangular floor plan, ground floor massively plastered, upper floor half-timbered, completely plastered, steep pitched roof. The cubature of the house and the arrangement of the window openings on the upper floor lead to the assumption that the stable house could well have been built at the beginning of the 18th century. Despite the subsequent plastering of the upper floor, one can see from the arrangement of the windows and their size that the half-timbered construction must also be largely original. The monument value of the house is derived from the historical building value due to its original substance and its age. (LFD / 2011.)

  • Stable house: solid ground floor, upper floor half-timbered (plastered), steep pitched roof
  • Barn: probably half-timbered (clad with panels), steep pitched roof, beaver tail covering
