Cottage (without massive extension) Birnenallee 2
(map)
1st V. 19th century Half-timbered building that defines the townscape, scientific and documentary value.

Solid ground floor, upper floor half-timbered, gable roof (slate), probably still in the 19th century with a gable-side extension with quarry stone masonry on the ground floor and simple half-timbering on the upper floor (probably stable and mountain room), in the 20th century another gable-sided extension followed on the south side, this now massive and plastered (no monument value), house has been vacant for many years, poor state of construction.

Cottage Birnenallee 3
(map)
around 1700 Half-timbered construction typical of the landscape, in the core probably the beginning of the 18th century, of architectural and social significance.

Cottage, probably built at the beginning of the 18th century and repaired several times according to the respective period. Presumably the building was severely driven under. The half-timbering on the upper floor is likely to date at least in part from the beginning of the 18th century, as a preserved flattened head strut suggests. The remaining half-timbered construction probably dates from the late 18th or early 19th century. The building is completed by a gable roof with a double plain tile roof. Extensions were added in accordance with the space requirements of the residents, and these also correspond to the building concept of the time it was built. A paving (Heiste) remained in front of the house. The house documents in a compact way the rural building trade of the 18th century, from which its historical value is derived. At the same time, it is a testimony to the living conditions of that time and therefore also of social and historical importance.

Cottage and barn extension Obersteinbach 12
(map)
around 1800 Rural residential and farm building in the typical landscape and time-based construction, part of the old local structure, of architectural and socio-historical importance.

L-shaped floor plan, barn and cottage form a structural unit, barn: half-timbered, saddle roof, cottage: two-storey, ground floor in parts also half-timbered, partly solid, upper floor half-timbered, boarded gable, saddle roof.

It can be assumed that the barn adjoining it at right angles was built later than the house. Both buildings have been preserved in very good original condition. Its monumental value results from the building-historical importance as evidence of the rural building trade of the 19th century, from the socio-historical importance as evidence of the living and economic conditions of the cottagers in the 19th century and from the importance of the townscape due to the dominant street location.
