List of cultural assets in Corcelles

The list of cultural property in Corcelles contains all objects in the municipality of Corcelles in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are fully included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Hammerschmiede built in 1791 (in place of a flour mill that has existed since 1640), since 1987 used as a museum of the iron industry. The mechanism, powered by the hydropower of the Gore-Virat stream, is one of the last in Switzerland that is still functional. The building with a hipped roof is an important witness of the pre-industrial age in the Bernese Jura.

The foundation takes care of the maintenance of the hammer forge and runs a museum about iron processing in Corcelles and in Switzerland.
