List of cultural assets in Tavannes

The list of cultural assets in Tavannes contains all objects in the municipality of Tavannes in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

F.	581481  /  229150	Artificial extension of a natural rock gate (petra pertusa) about 300 meters north of the pass, through which the road connection between Aventicum and Augusta Raurica ran in Roman times . An inscription from the early 3rd century above the northern tunnel entrance names Marcus Dunius Paternus as the builder of the road.
		Église du Christ-Roi KGS-No .: 9765	A.	G	Rue du General Voirol 7 581,731  /  230099	The Roman Catholic church building, built between 1928 and 1930, is a modern- style basilica with a 32 m high square tower and a baptistery in its base. Particularly noteworthy are the elegant combinations of straight lines, surfaces and simple geometric volumes as well as the simple facades made of limestone and imitation stone.
		Town hall (Hôtel de Ville) KGS-No .: 1254	B.	G	Grand-Rue 1 581 835  /  229946	Originally built as an inn around 1850, used as a schoolhouse from 1885, converted into the seat of the municipal administration in 1966/67. The rectangular neoclassical building has a half-hip roof with a dormer window . The facades are symmetrical with 9 × 4 axes , the three-part main facade is structured by carefully shaped limestone elements.
		Quartier industriel (Ébauches Tavannes SA, Tavannes Machines SA, Zampa SA) KGS-No .: 1265	B.	G	Rue Henri-Frederic Sandoz 582 220  /  230170	Ensemble of industrial buildings for the watch and precision engineering industry from the early 20th century.
