List of cultural assets in Orpund

The list of cultural assets in Orpund contains all objects in the municipality of Orpund in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are fully included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

1225 founded and in 1528 during the Reformation reversed monastery of Norbertine . The former monastery church, consecrated in 1295, has been a reformed church since 1533 and has a simple structure with a gable roof . The massive tower, built between 1600 and 1605, is attached to the two-storey vestibule on the northwest side. Grouped around the church like a courtyard are the former convent buildings , three long solid structures from different epochs joined together at right angles.
