List of cultural assets in Sutz-Lattrigen

The list of cultural assets in Sutz-Lattrigen contains all objects in the municipality of Sutz-Lattrigen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of October 29, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict .

Objects in category A and B are fully included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

This prestigious mansion was built from a 17th century manor , with the defining new concept dating back to 1871. In the manner of a baroque country house with a turret and an economic section , a complex of buildings under a lively roof landscape. The living and economic wing are combined under a hipped roof . An English landscape garden surrounds the facility.

This site on the shores of Lake Biel is part of the UNESCO World Heritage SitePrehistoric pile dwellings around the Alps ” and contains the remains of a prehistoric pile dwelling village from around 3000 to 2500 BC. Chr. The intact archaeological layers are invaluable for the research taking place in the Final Neolithic cultural and historical processes and the development of schnurkeramisch influenced Auvernier-Cordé culture.

Church building dating back to the 13th century with a central tower from 1485 and a polygonal choir from 1510. Next to it is the rectory , built from 1590 to 1593 and redesigned in Baroque style in 1765/66 , a stately and massive-looking structure under a uniform hipped roof .
