List of menhirs

  • Menhir : Names the name of the menhir as well as common alternative names
  • Location : Names the municipality and, if applicable, the district in which the menhir is located.
  • District : Name the district to which the municipality belongs. HOM: Saar-Palatinate District ; MZG: Merzig-Wadern district ; WND: District of St. Wendel
  • Type : Differentiation between different sub-types:
    • Menhir : a single standing, undecorated stone not connected to a grave
    • Grave stele : a stone standing on a burial mound
