Cabinet Temer

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The government of Brazil ( Portuguese : Governo do Brasil ) comprised 24 ministries in August 2016 . The ministers on duty were sworn in on June 9, 2016 by Interim President Michel Temer . All ministries are run by men. Most of the members belonged to the long-established Brazilian elite . In the Temer cabinet, there were ministers struggling with scandals. Three ministers were involved in an investigation into corruption at the state oil company Petrobras . Temer himself was also linked to the twilight affair. As of April 2017, nine of the ministers were investigated by the Federal Prosecutor General.
