List of the members of the headquarters of the KPD

This list gives an alphabetical overview of the members of the headquarters of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) elected at the party congresses (1918–1924 ). It was not until the Xth Party Congress of the KPD in Berlin in July 1925 that a central committee was elected as the governing body instead of the headquarters (→ list of members of the KPD's central committees ).

First Party Congress (1918/1919)

The founding party convention in Berlin (December 31, 1918 - January 1, 1919) chose a headquarters from twelve people:

II Party Congress (1919)

At the Second Party Congress in Heidelberg (October 20-24, 1919), a seven-person headquarters was elected:

III. Party Congress (February 1920)

The (illegally meeting) III. The party congress in Karlsruhe (February 25-26, 1920) elected a headquarters composed of seven members and seven deputies:

5th Party Congress (November 1920)

The delegates of the 5th party congress, which met in Berlin (November 1st - 3rd, 1920) confirmed the previous headquarters.

VI. Party Congress (December 1920)

The VI. Party congress (December 4-7, 1920 in Berlin) was the unification congress of the KPD and the left USPD . The delegates elected a board of directors made up of two chairmen, seven secretaries and five assessors.

VII Party Congress (1921)

The VIIth Party Congress, which met in Jena from August 22nd to 26th, 1921, elected a headquarters of 14 members:

The delegates of the 8th Party Congress, which met in Leipzig (January 28 - February 1, 1923) elect a headquarters from 21 members:
