- AppsNight was a show in which Marko Bagic and Emily Whigham presented and rated apps .
- Computerclub 2: Wolfgang Back and Wolfgang Rudolph presented the new edition of the technology magazine WDR Computerclub . The Computer Club 2 was produced as an audio broadcast (" Audiocast ") weekly and as a television broadcast monthly.
- DEMO - technology for understanding / DEMO 2.0 technology magazine with Marko Bagic .
- Half-time: A broadcast for all football fans of the Regionalliga West. The highlights from the most important encounters were shown and thus provided the latest news. Moderation: Peter Wirth .
- Short film night: During the short film night, NRW.TV offered filmmakers from all over Germany the opportunity to present their works. Films from various genres by students, alumni and already experienced filmmakers were shown twice a week on TV. Here you could already see the works of tomorrow's filmmakers today.
- More Music: A show for all music lovers. NRW.TV presented music videos for every taste. In addition to current titles from the charts, newcomers and indie artists were also presented. Moderation: Emily Whigham .
- NRW Late Night: The program presented the latest and most interesting events from the fields of sport with traditional and trend sports, KlickBlick with the latest web phenomena and lifestyle with a lot of fashion, cinema, trends, culture and gossip.
- NRW live: Lifestyle, culture, sport and news from North Rhine-Westphalia. The program was moderated by Alexander Bunkowitz, Natascha Wiese, Sophie Hofer, Emily Whigham, Sebastian Flotho, Peter Wirth and Christopher Behr.
- NRW Mobil - Automagazin: Automagazin with Klaus Niedzwiedz .
- Trailer box: Sophie Hofer took the viewer into the magical world of film in the trailer box . In addition to current blockbusters, it also presented the weekly German cinema charts and gave a glimpse of upcoming film highlights.
Former broadcasts
- Background: Background was about current affairs, knowledge and politics. When he was still involved in Kai3, this area was very similar to the former GIGA format GIGA real . Until he switched to Sat.1 breakfast television , Matthias Killing presented the program with Jan-Philipp Müller . Jan-Phillip Müller discussed controversial topics with guests from politics and society, about which the community could also ask questions via email or chat.
- Brunos Business Club: The business journalist Ralf-Dieter Brunowsky discussed the German and North Rhine-Westphalian economy with experts from the business world. The format was always broadcast on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
- Couch set: A broadcast about concerts, comedy, events, and gossip. It was moderated by Sabrina Gluba and Sophie Hofer.
- Der Westen - Meine Nachrichten: weekly news from the Ruhr area from the editorial office of the newspaper Der Westen
- Feast for the palate: The culinary magazine from North Rhine-Westphalia.
- Good morning NRW: Breakfast television for North Rhine-Westphalia with the latest news, weather and traffic information. In addition, guests were interviewed on current issues. The format was moderated alternately by Sabine Peper and Christopher Behr .
- Halftime: Various sports and, among other things, fun sports were presented in the program. In addition, current news from the world of sports was prepared. Guests were often invited to the individual topics, who then reported on current events. A highlight of this area was the Bundesliga prediction game and the sports quiz in the NRW.TV chat on Tuesday, where users could win great prizes. The area was moderated by Sabrina Gluba and Peter Wirth.
- Horné goes Music: Roger Horné led through the musical world of North Rhine-Westphalia - far away from hit parades.
- Horné Live: In his program, Roger Horné interviewed state and local politicians, but also people from business and the stock exchange, on current topics from politics and business. There were also frequent reports on the current situation on the stock exchange. The focus of his discussions with the studio guests was on current political debates. The main controversy was that, contrary to the title, the program was not broadcast live .
- Innofact NRW Trend: Together with the opinion research institute Innofact AG from Düsseldorf, 1000 NRW citizens were asked about current issues every week. During the broadcast, the results of Christopher Behr and Detlef Wolters from Innofact AG were presented in a representative study.
- Jamba Music Show: The Jamba Music Show was actually a commercial for Jamba! TV in which music clips were shown, the music of which could be downloaded for a fee by subscription via SMS. In addition, ringtone advertising from Jamba was broadcast in advertising blocks. The program was replaced by AppsNight from March 2010.
- KAI3: On July 10, 2006 there was the new afternoon program called KAI3 with the former GIGA network reporters Carsten Konze (no longer there since a relaunch of KAI3), Emily Whigham and Matthias Killing , as well as Jan-Philipp Müller , Daniele Rizzo (but this one is since August 2006 no longer there), Nadine Gräser , Sabrina Gluba and Peter Wirth started. It ran Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. Not only the moderators were taken over - the concept of interactivity and participation in the design of the program via the Internet and the convergence of television and Internet were closely based on that of GIGA. In the first months of the show, the structure was very similar to that of GIGA Green. There were also four areas (hotspot, timeout, sport (halftime since October 8, 2007) and background) that reported on their topics in five-minute takes. After the moderators Carsten Konze and Daniele Rizzo - moderators of the hotspot area - KAI3, this area was closed. At Hotspot , everything revolved around technology. The structure had changed in the meantime and the three remaining areas were shown one after the other in individual programs over the course of the afternoon. In the meantime, the program Timeout has been completely discontinued and only the background format still had the addition of Kai3 in its name. The name KAI3 is derived from the place of production. The sender is or the broadcast was located at Kaistraße 3 in Düsseldorf . The program has already been discontinued.
- KAI3 Timeout: Emily Wigham and Nadine Gräser reported on the world of stars. They welcomed prominent guests from music and theater. Music videos were also broadcast at Timeout and there were often musical studio performances by the guests. The program was always broadcast Monday through Friday 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Culture with Uta: Uta Fußangel spoke to guests, in the studio or on site, about cultural events.
- Lai Kan Ba - The Chinese Hour was a program that mainly deals with the Chinese in the state. It was moderated by Sisi Chen and Yi Hu .
- Märchenbaum was a fairy tale show for children.
- Märchenzeit was the successor to Märchenbaum . The format was moderated by Sylvia Czapiewski.
- Night program: The so-called night program on NRW.TV (daily 0:30 to 4:00 am) was an erotic channel in which erotic films were broadcast interrupted by advertisements for sex hotlines.
- NIX TV was a show that was designed by former RTL boss Helmut Thoma . From the presentation, NIX TV was reminiscent of KAI3 and GIGA -Green.
- NRW News: A news overview of current events in Germany and especially in North Rhine-Westphalia, moderated by Björn Schwemin .
- NRW Cities Tour: Sabrina Gluba presented interesting cities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
- NRW.TV report: In this format there were various reports on, for example, the car market in Essen or a travel special about Limburg.
- RUHR.2010 - The magazine: The magazine for the European Capital of Culture 2010, the Ruhr area
- Screwdriver was a do-it-yourself magazine broadcast on Saturdays, in which tips and tricks for do-it-yourselfers were shown by an expert.
- Silvanas Europa: The European politician Silvana Koch-Mehrin spoke to well-known guests about current decisions and discussions in the EU Parliament in Brussels. The main aim of the program was to arouse interest in Europe and European politics.
- Sophie's Kinowelt: Sophie Hofer presented the new cinema releases and provided information about the new films in the cinemas in NRW. Interviews with current film stars and directors were also shown frequently.
- Sophie's Kinowelt - Special: Here Sophie Hofer presented a making-of of a current movie.
- City of the week: Every week the “City of the Week” could be chosen by SMS or internet voting on NRW.TV. The NRW.TV reporters Björn Schwemin and Johannes Werner reported from the city and showed interesting sights and leisure activities. Interviews were also conducted with well-known and popular personalities from the respective city. The program was broadcast on Fridays from 6 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
