Bathing in public waters
You are allowed to swim in the Walchewier , the Schützenweiher and the Kemptweiher at your own risk . Bathing in the three ponds was indirectly initiated by the Waldeggsee Initiative , which wanted to create an artificial lake in Winterthur south of the Mattenbach district , but clearly failed in February 1999 at the urn. To cool off, you can also visit the Töss , which is not deep enough to swim normally.
