List of the town councilors of Baden AG
The list of city councilors of Baden chronologically lists the city councilors of the Swiss city of Baden in the canton of Aargau .
The mayor corresponds in his function to the mayor in other Aargau communities and the mayor or mayor in other cantons. He is one of seven members of the city council (corresponds to the municipal council), his deputy is the vice-administrator. As the head of the city, the mayor leads the meetings of the city council, and in urgent cases he can also make presidential decisions. Until 1798, when Baden was part of the County of Baden and thus subject to the Confederation , a mayor was at the head of the city. During the time of the Helvetic Republic (1798-1803) a president led the municipalityon. The office of mayor in its current form has existed since 1803.
