This list of student associations in Leipzig shows the currently 15 active as well as the numerous postponed and expired student associations at the traditional University of Leipzig , the Leipzig Commercial College and other Leipzig study institutions.

Country team Brunsviga 1882 Cornflower blue-white-black German country team mandatory 1965 merged with Rhenoguestphalia Bochum to form the Rhenoguestphalia-Brunsviga Landsmannschaft. This in turn in 1983 with Ubia in Cologne to Ubia-Brunsviga. Last merged with Palaeomarchia Halle in 2015 to form Ubia-Brunsviga-Palaeomarchia Cologne.

The name Istaevonia is a Latinized corruption of the abbreviation I.St.V. The re-founded AHV merged in 1958 to form the gymnastics club Cimbria-Istaevonia Bonn. This suspended in 2009, the tradition is maintained today by the Landsmannschaft Salia Bonn in the CC.

Corps Rheno-Guestphalia 1902 pink-white-purple Rudolstadt Senior Citizens' Convention mandatory Gegr. at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, moved there in 1912, merging with the Markomannia Leipzig gymnastics club. AHV merged into Markomannia Bonn ( WSC ) in 1951 .
