The UNESCO has with stand April 2018 world 140 geoparks in 38 countries, including four transnational Geoparks under the International Geoscience and Geoparks programs recognized (IGGP) as areas with geological sites and landscapes of international geoscientific significance and them the title UNESCO Global Geopark awarded . These Geoparks are combined in the Global Geoparks Network .

The worldwide listing of UNESCO Global Geoparks is geographically divided into continents.

In Australia and Oceania no UNESCO Global Geopark has yet been designated.
