Register of good practice examples
The register of good practices ( Register of Good Safeguarding Practices , English is) one of three international lists the UNESCO as part of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage created in 2008. The register contains model projects for the protection and strengthening of intangible cultural heritage at national, regional or local level.
The Intergovernmental Committee on the Conservation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage decides at its annual meeting on the inclusion of projects in the register of good practices. Projects are included that reflect and effectively implement the goals and principles of the Convention for the Conservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The projects are intended to inspire other states, institutions, communities and NGOs to take measures to protect and promote intangible cultural heritage.
