The list of water protection areas in Pforzheim includes water protection areas (WSG) in the Pforzheim district in Baden-Württemberg . It is sorted according to the official WSG numbers. In the water protection areas , special rules and prohibitions apply to water bodies ( groundwater , surface water) in order to protect the water from contamination. history

The city of Pforzheim annually provides information on the development of nitrate concentrations in the individual water protection areas and either issues requirements for farmers for the following year or relaxes previous management requirements on the basis of the Protection Area and Compensation Ordinance (SchALVO) of the State of Baden-Württemberg, which has been in force since 1988 . This ordinance was amended on March 1, 2001.
