List of signposts of the Sauerland Mountain Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of signposts of the Sauerland Mountains Association includes all standard signs for marking hiking trails in the association area of the Sauerland Mountains Association (SGV) permitted in accordance with Annex 4 of the Implementing Ordinance of the Landscape Act of North Rhine-Westphalia . These signposts can be found in the Sauerland , Bergisches Land , the Ruhr area and the Münsterland .

In practice, different route signs are also used by individual SGV departments. However, these are not subject to the same legal protection as the signposts on this list. The signposts must be white on a black or dark background. Certain signposts may optionally be combined with the appended counting number, others this is not allowed, for some the counting number is mandatory.

With the advent of hiking trails that are particularly advertised for tourists, such as B. the Rothaarsteig or the Rheinsteig , their individual waymarks have also been added to the list.
