This is a list of the Bavarian envoys in Prussia , from 1867 to the North German Confederation and from 1871 to the German Empire . In 1933 the embassy was renamed "Representation to the Reich" and dissolved in 1934. In addition to the Bavarian legation in Berlin, there were also temporary consulates in Emden (1831–1868), Aachen (1831–1881) and Cologne (1831–1880).

In 1949 the agency was re-established to represent the Free State of Bavaria at the federal level .
