The remains of Albeck Castle, first mentioned in 1155, are located on a wooded rock cone. After 1264 the castle served as the seat of various ministerials. In the middle of the 15th century it was given its own regional jurisdiction. In the second half of the 17th century, repair work was still carried out, but by the beginning of the 18th century it was uninhabited and was demolished. Remains of a Romanesque round tower as well as the choir and triumphal arch of the former Romanesque castle chapel from the 12th or 13th century are still preserved from the complex.

The Protestant parish church was built in 1860. The hall-like building is crowned by a gable on its west facade and has a curved porch roof. The separated, polygonal chancel (with stitch caps), like the west facade and the sides of the building, is structured by arched windows. The stab caps of the barrel-vaulted interior are rounded. The triumphal arch, which is also round, has a cornice. The simple wooden gallery from the time it was built is supported by two baluster columns.

The interior of the church is worth mentioning: The baroque high altar from the 19th century, the altarpiece of which depicts a standing Christ with a gesture of blessing. The organ and the pulpit (both also in a Baroque style) were built at the same time as the altar. The oil painting with the Pietà by Cillia dates from 1946.
