KG: Pöstlingberg
Housing estate built during the Nazi era from 1940–1942, its architects Paul Gedon (giant blocks Leonfeldner Strasse 94-130), Bruno Biehler (Leonfeldner Strasse 66-92) and Fritz Norkauer (Leonfeldner Strasse 99-107) under Reich building officer Roderich Fick were. The Harbachsiedlung is the first residential complex of this size in Linz and is also an exception to the anti-urbanism (small settlements) otherwise common under National Socialism; rather, the four-wing closed block construction with large inner courtyards is based on the traditional Upper Austrian square . Smooth facades with economical structuring elements give the elongated settlement (parts 1 and 2) consisting of five building blocks with six connecting structures a monumental appearance. Striking elements are the multi-bay courtyard passages with barrel vaults on mighty central pillars and wide arched portals with stone frames, wedge stones and wheel deflectors. The staircase entrances are framed by narrow, stone rectangular portals and often have skylights and wooden doors, inside you can still sometimes find staircases with chamfered wooden stairs and railings.

The Harbach settlement extends over the cadastral communities Urfahr and Pöstlingberg.
