List of permanent faculty members at the Institute for Advanced Study
The Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) is a private research facility in Princeton, New Jersey . The IAS uses the word faculty in a special way. Although the IAS is not a university in the strict sense of the word, the members hold lectures and seminars on their own initiative, often do research with assistants and have the title of professor .
