  • Felix Mark (* 1901 in Oberwittighausen; † 1975), farmer, entrepreneur and politician, came from the so-called “Mainzerhof”, managed several farm estates, a. a. in Oberweißbrunn, in the Rhön and the monastery in Bronnbach , from 1954 mayor for several terms.
  • Alois Hörner (* 1908 in Unterwittighausen; † 1991 in Nuremberg), musician and opera singer.
  • Werner Hoos (* 20th century; † 2005)

  • Georg Boskamp (* 1943; † 2004), draftsman and graphic artist, exhibited his works of art in various galleries and museums from 1970 (including in Würzburg, Munich, Bilbao and New York), and in 1982 as professor of drawing and painting at the University of Applied Sciences Appointed Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt , ran a studio on the edge of the Wittighaus forest until the end of his life.
