- Fallen soldiers in the battle near Tauberbischofsheim (1866): The fallen soldiers of Württemberg in the battle near Tauberbischofsheim during the German War as part of the Main Campaign on July 24, 1866 were immortalized on a war memorial. King Karl I of Württemberg had the monument erected over a mass grave of Württemberg fallen soldiers, on which all of the Württemberg soldiers who died in this battle are listed by name. It was inaugurated on the first anniversary of the battle, July 24, 1867.
- Heinrich Zipf (* 1874; † 1946), grew up in Gerlachsheim, ran the Zipf brewery in Gerlachsheim from 1902 and as Zipf-Bräu in Tauberbischofsheim from 1930 . The so-called Zipf residential park and the Zipf roundabout are still reminiscent of Zipf .
