The list of memorial objects relating to the Nazi era in Vienna lists memorials, memorials, memorials, memorial stones and plaques in the public space of Vienna that relate to the Nazi era . However, it does not contain the more than 1100 memorial and memorial stones (similar to the stumbling blocks ), see memorial and memorial stones in Vienna in this regard . In total there are over 1,800 commemorative signs in Vienna, including explanatory panels for naming traffic areas and parks.

2000 The monument “Liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp in Floridsdorf” at the Floridsdorf district museum was erected in 2000 by the “never forget” association and is intended to commemorate the liberation of 2 Mauthausen concentration camps .

1988 The memorial against war and fascism was erected by the city of Vienna based on a design by Alfred Hrdlicka . The unveiling of the still unfinished monument took place on November 24, 1988.

1998 The “Memorial for the Leopoldstädter Tempel ” was built according to a design by the architect Martin Kohlbauer and “unveiled” on March 31, 1998. It consists of four white columns with a height of 24 and 28 meters respectively, which are intended to remind of the size of the destroyed synagogue in their original scale.

1947 The memorial to the firefighters murdered by fascism was donated by the fire brigade of the City of Vienna, designed by Mario Petrucci and unveiled on October 27, 1947 by Mayor Theodor Körner. It commemorates a civil war fighter and four executed communist resistance fighters.

2014 The memorial to those persecuted by the Nazi military justice was designed by the artist Olaf Nicolai , erected by the City of Vienna and presented to the public on October 24, 2014 at a ceremony.

The memorial for the victims of the Gestapo Vienna was originally set up by victims' associations in 1968 as a “memorial room for the victims of the Austrian struggle for freedom”. After the renovation and the thematic expansion by the Documentation Archive of the Austrian Resistance (DÖW), it was reopened on May 26, 2011 by Federal President Heinz Fischer .

1948 The memorial of the City of Vienna at the Vienna Central Cemetery is dedicated to “the victims for a free Austria 1934–1945”. It was donated by the City of Vienna , designed by Fritz Cremer , Wilhelm Schütte and Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky and presented to the public on November 1, 1948 by Mayor Theodor Körner .

1947 The memorial for the Hietzingen tramers beheaded by the Nazi regime was donated by employees of the Speising depot and unveiled on November 9, 1947. It commemorates four resistance fighters who were sentenced to death

2017 The Aspangbahnhof memorial was designed by the artist duo PRINZpod, built on behalf of the City of Vienna for around 330,000 euros and unveiled on September 7, 2017. The memorial commemorates the 47,035 Jews who were deported from the Aspang train station.

2003 The memorial in front of the Art Nouveau theater on the grounds of the Otto Wagner Hospital consists of 772 light columns and was inaugurated on November 28, 2003. It commemorates those children who were murdered in the municipal youth welfare institution “ Am Spiegelgrund ” from 1940 onwards.

2002 The memorial and exhibition is looked after by the documentation archive of the Austrian resistance and was opened in May 2002 on the occasion of the burial of the mortal remains of the Spiegelgrund victims in Pavilion V of the Otto Wagner Hospital. An expansion took place in 2008 and 2012.

1964 (1950) The memorial plaque on the right by the main entrance of the office building commemorates three executed resistance fighters and was unveiled in 1964. The old memorial stone, donated by the Floridsdorf district group of the Vienna Regional Association of the Federal Association of Austrian Resistance Fighters and Victims of Fascism (Concentration Camp Association), was unveiled on April 8, 1950 and had to be removed in 1962 for traffic reasons.

1984 (1947) The monument "Fascism Killed" at the tram depot at Richtgasse 5 in Floridsdorf was erected in memory of 4 victims of the resistance against the Nazi regime and was unveiled on August 2, 1947. The original memorial, donated by the staff of the depot, consisted of a wall sgraffito, a recess with a bust and an inscription and a dedication. In 1984 the bust was moved and the memorial was redesigned by Manfred Schwinghammer.

2008 (1950) The monument to Rudolf Beer , designed by Franz Pixner and unveiled on April 23, 1950, was originally located in the foyer of the Die Scala theater (4, Favoritenstrasse 8). Because of the demolition of the theater, it was placed next to the Volkstheater (7, Neustiftgasse 1) on December 31, 1960. In 2008, with the help of the City of Vienna, the bust was restored, given a base, relocated and re-unveiled.

2003 The memorial plaque “Reason for termination of non-Aryans” was donated by the City of Vienna and the Cultural Association of Austrian Roma and unveiled on November 27, 2003. It is located opposite the Heiligenstadt train station on the outside of the Karl-Marx-Hof community building .

2015 The memorial “369 weeks” in front of the Regional Court for Criminal Matters Vienna (north of the main entrance) was unveiled on April 21, 2015. It was designed by Eva Schlegel and donated by the KZ-Verband (KPÖ), the Federation of Socialist Freedom Fighters (SPÖ) and the ÖVP-Comradeship of the Politically Persecuted. The number 369 stands for the 369 weeks of Nazi rule in Vienna.

The “Memorial to the Victims of the Nazi Justice” was first established in 1951 in the former execution room. In 1967 the memorial was redesigned and enlarged, and on May 8, 1967 it was reopened by Chancellor Josef Klaus . Another redesign took place in 2011/2012.

2015 As part of a project by the Regional Court and the Ministry of Justice, which also included victim protection associations, several memorial plaques were placed directly in front of the main entrance of the Regional Court for Criminal Matters , which were presented to the public on January 26, 2015.

The memorial "Never Forget For the Victims of the Gestapo" commemorates the Gestapo headquarters in the former Hotel Métropole . The memorial donated by the City of Vienna was designed by Leopold Grausam , the technical director of the City of Vienna's stonemasonry workshop , and unveiled on November 1, 1985. It replaced the existing memorial stone for the victims of fascism around 50 meters to the south, which was illegally erected on April 11, 1951 by the KZ-Verband (KPÖ).
