The list of preserved public German colonial buildings in Togo deals with public buildings and other public buildings that have been preserved in the former German colony of Togo . Togo was a German colony from 1884 to 1916. Like all colonies in Germany, with the exception of German South West Africa , it was not a settlement colony . At the wedding in 1912, 320 Germans lived in the country.
