Little Earthquakes is the debut album by Tori Amos . It was released in 1992 as the previous album of Under The Pink on Atlantic Records (inside the USA) and WEA International (outside the USA).

History of origin

Already on her first solo album , Tori Amos was able to appear as co-producer (together with Eric Rosse) of 5 of the 12 tracks. The main producer was Davitt Sigerson, who had already successfully produced The Bangles and Olivia Newton-John . Most of the pieces can only be guessed at that they were originally composed as a pure piano performance.

Little Earthquakes is Tori Amos' most successful album with over two million copies sold . Not only did the album sell well, it received praise from music critics.

Singles

"Me And A Gun", "Silent All These Years", "Crucify" and "China" (produced by Ian Stanley) were released as singles . "Silent All These Years" appeared again in 1997 as part of a RAINN charity event .
