Lyudmila Stepanovna Buldakova ( Russian: Людми́ла Степа́новна Булдако́ва ; * May 25, 1938 in Leningrad as Lyudmila Stepanovna Meschtscherjakowa ; † November 8, 2006 in Moscow ) was a Soviet volleyball player .

Buldakowa won gold twice with the Soviet national team at the Olympic Games ( 1968 in Mexico and 1972 in Munich ) and silver in 1964 in Tokyo . She was also three times world champion ( 1956 , 1960 and 1970 ) and three times European champion ( 1958 , 1967 and 1971 ).

With Dynamo Moscow Buldakova won the Soviet championship seven times and the European Cup eight times between 1960 and 1974 .

2012 Lyudmila Buldakowa was posthumously inducted into the " Volleyball Hall of Fame ".
