Loćika ( Cyrillic : Лоћика) is a village in eastern Serbia .

Geography and population

The village is located in the Opština Aleksinac in Nišavski okrug in the east of the country at 188 meters above sea level. Loćika had 282 inhabitants at the 2011 census, compared to 380 in 2002. According to the last three population statistics, the number of inhabitants continues to fall.

99.3% of the population of Loćika are Serbian Orthodox Serbs . Three people stated an unknown ancestry, which corresponds to 0.7% of the population. The place consists of 136 households.

The village is located southwest of the city of Aleksinac . Nearby is the Jastrebac mountain range , which is also open to tourists. The place is surrounded by forests, the largest of which is called Mišinac , and a stream flows through the village.

The neighboring villages of Loćika are: Dašnica , Vrćenovica , Koprivnica , Mali Drenovac , Šurić and Bankovac .
