geography
The Lodowczyk Mięguszowiecki is located in the Ice Age hanging valley Bańdzioch south of the Dolina Rybiego Potoku mountain valley, which is in turn a side valley of the Dolina Białki valley , in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It is located north below the summit of the Mięguszowieckie Szczyty massif , specifically the Mięguszowiecki Szczyt Czarny , the Mięguszowiecki Szczyt and the intermediate mountain pass Mięguszowiecka Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem about 500 meters above the Meerauge mountain lake .
The glacier ice is around 150 years old. The glacier is about 136 meters wide and 94 meters long. In the ice there is a crevasse with a length varying from 64 to 94 meters. The ice moves at a speed of about 0.6-0.8 meters / year. Measurements from 1958–1999 have shown that the ice surface is neither increasing nor decreasing.
