The Bańdzioch hanging valley , also known as Mięguszowiecki Kocioł , was formed by glaciers in the Ice Age and is located south of the Dolina Rybiego Potoku mountain valley, which in turn is a side valley of the Dolina Białki valley , in the Polish High Tatras in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship . It lies below the summit of the Mięguszowieckie Szczyty massif , specifically the Mięguszowiecki Szczyt Czarny , the Mięguszowiecki Szczyt and the Mięguszowiecka Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem mountain pass, about 500 meters above the Meerauge mountain lake .
geography
The basin has a diameter of several hundred meters and is surrounded by mountains over 2400 meters high. The Lodowczyk Mięguszowiecki Glacier is located in the basin .
etymology
The name Bańdzioch can be translated as a boiler .
Flora and fauna
The boiler is above the tree line. The basin is a retreat for chamois, marmots and golden eagles. Rare alpine flora can be found in the basin.

There is a high mountain climate in the boiler.

In the basin there is a green hiking trail from the mountain lake Czarny Staw pod Rysami to the mountain pass Mięguszowiecka Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem .
