Arnold Lohren

Arnold Lohren (born January 15, 1836 in Krefeld , † June 18, 1901 in Berlin ) was a textile manufacturer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Lohren attended the royal trade school in Krefeld and then from 1856 to 1859 the technical college (trade academy) and the university in Berlin. From 1864 to 1880 he built and managed the Berlin-Neuendorfer worsted spinning mill in Neuendorf near Potsdam . He was also a co-founder and long-term board member of the Central Association of German Industrialists . He was a member of the district assembly for Teltow until the end of 1879 and a city councilor in Potsdam since 1881. Between 1882 and 1893 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1881 to 1890 of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district of Potsdam 6 ( Niederbarnim , Lichtenberg ) and the German Reich Party . He was a member of the Potsdam Masonic Lodge Teutonia for Wisdom .
