Loi Im Lan ( Chinese  呂艷蘭 , Pinyin Lǚ Yànlán; born February 6, 1998 ) is a sprinter from Macau .

Athletic career

Loi Im Lan gained her first international experience in 2014 at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei , where she was eliminated in the 100-meter run with 13.16 seconds in the first round and was disqualified in the Macau 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run . She then took part in the Junior World Championships in Eugene over 100 meters , but was also eliminated there with 12.83 s in the preliminary round. Two years later she took part in the 60-meter run at the World Indoor Championships in Portland , where she was eliminated in the first round with 7.83 s. At the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City , she finished eighth in 12.17 s and at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz she was eliminated with 12.43 s in the lead. In 2017 she was eliminated at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar with 13.27 s in the first round over 100 meters, as well as at the World Championships in London , in which she was allowed to participate thanks to a wildcard and there was eliminated with 12.00 s in the preliminary round. At the beginning of September, she was eliminated from the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat over 60 meters with 7.72 seconds in the first round. In 2018 she improved her national record to 7.69 s at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham and was eliminated in the preliminary round. At the end of August, she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was eliminated there over 100 meters with 11.96 s in the first round, as well as in the 200-meter run with 24.73 s.

In 2019 she took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples over 100 meters , where she was eliminated in the first round with 12.12 seconds. Thanks to a wildcard, she was allowed to take part again in the World Championships in Doha , where she was eliminated with 12.10 seconds in the lead .

In 2018 Loi became the Macau champion in the 100-meter run.
