The Loktewka ( Russian Локтевка ) is a left tributary of the Charysch in the Russian Altai region .
The Loktewka rises on the western slope of the Sinjucha , the highest mountain of the Kolywan ridge , in the north-western Altai Mountains . It initially flows a short distance in a south-westerly direction through the mountains before making a sharp turn to the north. She leaves the mountains. The course of the river lies almost entirely within the Kurja Rajon . Only the last few kilometers are in the Pospelicha district . The Loktewka takes from the right Belaya , a river, the near Kolyvan springs on. The Loktewka reaches the Kurja district administrative center halfway , where there is a runoff level. After 111 km the Loktewka flows into the Tscharysch, a left tributary of the Ob . The Loktewka drains an area of 1610 km². At the Kuja gauge, 53 km above the mouth, the mean discharge is 7.34 m³ / s. The river is mainly fed by the snowmelt . April (35.22 m³ / s) and May (23.68 m³ / s) are the months with the highest discharge (monthly mean at the Kurja gauge).
