Lopuschne (Ukrainian Лопушне ; Russian Лопушное / Lopuschnoje , Polish Łopuszno ) is a village in the Kremenez district of Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine about 27 kilometers southwest of the district capital Kremenez and 41 kilometers north of the oblast capital Ternopil .

On August 10, 2015, the village became the center of the newly founded rural community Lopuschne (Лопушненська сільська громада / Lopuschenska silska hromada ). This also includes the 5 villages Krutniw (Крутнів), Mala Horjanka (Мала Горянка), Raslawka (Раславка), Welyka Horjanka (Велика Горянка) and Wolyzja (Волиця).

The place was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1512 and initially belonged to the aristocratic republic of Poland-Lithuania (in the Volhynian Voivodeship ). With the partitions of Poland , the place fell to the Russian Empire and was in the Volhynia governorate until the end of the First World War .

After the end of the First World War, the place became part of Poland (as Łopuszno in the Voivodeship of Volhynia , Powiat Krzemieniec , Gmina Wyszogródek ), was occupied by the Soviet Union from 1939 to 1941 and then by Germany until 1944 . This incorporated the place into the Reichskommissariat Ukraine .

After the end of the war the place was added to the Soviet Union , there the village came to the Ukrainian SSR and has been part of today's Ukraine since 1991.
