Loren Gray Beech (born April 19, 2002 in Pottstown , Montgomery County , Pennsylvania ) is an American singer who is under contract with Virgin Records and Capitol Records . She is considered one of the leading social media stars and has well over 70 million subscribers on the various channels TikTok , Instagram , Twitter and YouTube .

Life

Gray grew up with a half-sister eight years her senior. At the age of 12, she was sexually abused by an acquaintance. From 2015 she became known through the use of the video portal TikTok , where she had the most followers for years. Due to her popularity, which she got through various websites operated by her, she was allowed to participate in the music video of the British singer HRVY for the single Personal in 2017 . In March 2018 she signed a contract with Virgin Records .

Career

In August 2018 she released her first single, My Story, on the Virgin Records label . In November of the same year the single Kick You Out followed , judged by the Billboard , a song that describes the real ups and downs that arise when you are in love . The third single Queen followed in December 2018.

In April 2019 two new songs by Gray were released with Options and Lie Like That . Together with the singer Saweetie , she released the song Can't Do It . On May 13th, 2020 she released the single Cake after a year without a new release .
