HRVY , pseudonym of Harvey Leigh Cantwell (born January 28, 1999 in Kent , England ) is an English singer, dancer and television presenter. He moderated Friday Download on CBBC from seasons 7 to 9 and supported The Vamps on their 2018 and 2019 tours.

Career

His first single Thank You was released on February 8, 2013. In May 2014 HRVY was an opening act for the girl group Little Mix during their Salute tour. After signing with Virgin EMI in February 2017, he released the debut EP with the singles Holiday and Phobia . In November 2017, the EP Talk to Ya followed , which included the single Personal . Personal became the singer's most popular song to date. After the success, HRVY took part in a Christmas tour of the boy group RoadTrip in 2017 .

In April 2018 HRVY appeared as a support artist for The Vamps during the Night and Day Tour alongside Jacob Sartorius , New Hope Club , Maggie Lindemann and Conor Maynard . On April 25, 2018 he released his single Hasta Luego with the Cuban-American singer Malu Trevejo . In June 2018 DJ invited Jonas Blue him on the stage singing his hit single mom at the Summertime Ball of Capital FM to take over. He also performed at Slice Fest 2018 on Blackpool Pleasure Beach .

In July 2018, HRVY headlined all of Europe and performed in the US. In August 2018 he was nominated in Brazil for the BreakTudo Awards 2018 in the category International New Artist . In September 2018, he released I Wish You Were Here , which was advertised with an appearance at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards . In December of that year, HRVY released another single, I Don't Think About You , and played its biggest headline show to date at the Eventim Apollo .

The success of HRVY in 2018 was named one of the Top Success Stories of 2018 by CelebMix . In June 2019 HRVY worked with the South Korean boy group NCT Dream from SM Entertainment . The song Don't Need Your Love was released on June 6, 2019.
