Lorenz Grabovac (born July 25, 1997 in Zwettl ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
society
Grabovac started his career at SC Zwettl . In November 2013 he made his debut against SV Langenrohr for Zwettl's first team in the national league . In March 2014, he scored his first goal in the national league in a 3-1 win against FC Mistelbach . By the end of the 2013/14 season, he made 13 appearances in the fourth-highest division, in which he scored two goals. In the 2014/15 season he played 24 games and scored ten goals.
For the 2015/16 season he moved to the second division club FC Liefering , the farm team of FC Red Bull Salzburg . In August 2015 he made his debut in the 2nd division when he came on as a substitute for Marco Hödl in the 80th minute on the sixth matchday of that season against SC Wiener Neustadt . By the end of the season, he made ten appearances for Liefering in the second-highest division, and he also played four games for the Red Bull Salzburg U-19 team in the UEFA Youth League . In October 2016, he scored his first goal in the second-highest division in a 5-1 win against Floridsdorfer AC . By the end of the 2016/17 season, he had scored four goals in 20 games.
For the 2017/18 season he moved to the Bundesliga club SKN St. Pölten , where he received a contract valid until June 2019. He made his Bundesliga debut in July 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Daniel Luxbacher in the 67th minute on the first match day of that season against SK Sturm Graz . By the end of the season he made three appearances in the top division, and he also played 14 games for the amateurs in the regional league , from which he was relegated to the national league with the team at the end of the season. In the 2018/19 season he played no role in the Bundesliga team and was not once in the matchday squad. For the now fourth-rate amateurs, however, he completed 14 games in which he scored in goal. After his contract expired in June 2019, he signed a new one-year contract with SKN in July 2019. He then returned to the Bundesliga for the first time since August 2017 in July 2019. He also played 15 games for the amateurs until the state league was abandoned and scored six goals.
After his contract with SKN ended, he moved to fourth-class First Vienna FC for the 2020/21 season .
National team
Between October 2015 and March 2016 he played five games for the Austrian U-19 team .

His father Damir (* 1969) was also active in the Austrian Bundesliga.
