Lorraine Martins (born April 4, 2000 ) is a Brazilian sprinter .

Athletic career

Lorraine Martins gained her first experience in international championships in 2016 at the U18 South American Championships in Concordia , where she won the gold medal in the 100 meter run in 11.78 s and bronze in the 200 meters in 24.98 s. The following year she won the U20 South American Championships in Leonora in 11.56 s and 23.89 s over 100 and 200 meters and finished fourth in the Brazilian 4 x 100 meter relay in 47.63 s . She then took part in the U18 World Championships in Nairobi , where she finished fourth over 100 meters in 11.80 s and fourth over 200 meters in 23.89 s. In 2018 she qualified for the U20 World Championships in Tampere, Finland , where she was sixth in the 100 meters in 11.48 s and seventh in the 200-meter run in 23.91 s . At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , she finished fourth in the 4 x 100 meter relay in 43.75 seconds. She then won the U20 South American Championships in Cali in 11.42 seconds over 100 meters, in 23.53 seconds over 200 meters and in 3: 37.24 minutes in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
