LostAlone was a three-piece British rock band from Derby, Derbyshire .
biography
Songwriter and frontman Steven and Mark have played in different bands together since childhood. At the beginning of 2005 they founded the band LostAlone with bassist Tom . Immediately afterwards, the EP Light the Waves was recorded and a tour with the Japanese electro rock band Electric Eel Shock was completed. Then there were other appearances in Germany , including at the Bochum Total Festival.
Back in England, thanks to a record deal with Scorpia, they recorded the debut single Blood Is Sharp with producer Matt Ellis (Komakino, Ego Parade) , the video clip of which was even played on MTV in 2006 . Helterskelter signed them and they continued touring with ex- Skunk Anansie front woman Skin and Silverstein ; because of this, they also got a contract with the German label Marx Capital Records. In May 2006 they continued to work on the debut album Say No to the World and then toured again as support for The Kooks , Enter Shikari and My Chemical Romance as well as headlining z. B. at the Bochum Total Festival.
The EP Blood Is Sharp was released in September 2006 and Unleash the Sands of All Time in December , followed by the album Say No to the World in April 2007.
In 2010 they were the opening act for 30 Seconds to Mars on their European tour.
In 2014 the band members published a statement that LostAlone would disband by the end of this year. On December 19, they played their last concert in their hometown of Derby.
