Lotte (born July 14, 1995 in Ravensburg ; real name Charlotte Rezbach ; original spelling LOTTE ) is a German singer-songwriter from Ravensburg.

biography

In her childhood, Rezbach took classical singing lessons and learned the instruments guitar , piano and violin . According to the official biography, she wrote her first song at the age of 13. After graduating from high school, she first studied philosophy in Innsbruck .

In the summer of 2016 she played at festivals as a support act for musicians such as Max Giesinger , Benne and Johannes Oerding - initially without a band. In the same year she published several songs of her own on her YouTube channel.

The debut single Auf Zwei Beinen was released on March 31, 2017. MDR Jump describes their first single as a song that is about longing for freedom and independence and about "enjoying life to the full". In April 2017, the music label Columbia Records Germany signed Lotte. A month later appeared with flight reflex the next single, along with a lyric video on YouTube. On July 14, 2017, the song Pauken was released as the third single. Regarding this, MDR Jump notes that this song is about love and the need for freedom on the one hand and security and security on the other. Her debut album Querfeldein was released on September 15, 2017 and was placed 30th in the German album charts . Associated tours followed in autumn 2017 and spring 2018. In February 2018 a new single was released with Farben , which cannot be found on any album.

Her second album Glück was released on October 11, 2019. Previously, the song Schau mich nicht so an was released as the first single on May 10th of the same year. The second single was the song Auf das, what is there noch sein, released together with Max Giesinger on August 23, 2019. On October 4, 2019, the third single Zu Jung was released.

In 2020 she released her single Mehr vom , which also acts as the theme song of the eighth season of Celebrity Big Brother .

Lotte lives in Berlin.
