Louis Feldmann
Louis Feldmann (born June 12, 1856 in Itzehoe , † March 28, 1928 in Düsseldorf ) was a German painter of religious subjects.
Life
After graduating from high school in Münster, Louis Feldmann studied from 1877 to 1891 (interrupted by military service from 1878 to 1880) at the Royal Prussian Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Eduard von Gebhardt . After graduating, he went on study trips to the Netherlands , Belgium , Great Britain and Italy in 1890/91 .
Since 1889 he was a member of the Düsseldorf "Malkastens" . His works were almost exclusively devoted to religious subjects.
