Louis Leterrier (born June 17, 1973 in Paris ) is a French film director and producer.

life and career

Leterrier, born in Paris in 1973, is the son of the film director François Leterrier and the costume designer Catherine Leterrier . His most famous films were The Transporter and Transporter 2 , in which Jason Statham played the lead role. Another film adaptation that he directed was Unleashed - Unleashed with Jet Li and Morgan Freeman . Leterrier is friends with the French director Luc Besson . In 2008, he directed The Incredible Hulk .

In 2010 Clash of the Titans was released. The film, which was cast with Sam Worthington , Liam Neeson , Ralph Fiennes and Mads Mikkelsen , is a remake of the 1981 classic Clash of the Titans .

Leterrier has also been working for television since 2017. For the two series Tycoon and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance , he worked as a director and executive producer.

He has a wife and a daughter.
