Louis Walsh

Michael Louis Vincent Walsh , known as Louis Walsh (born August 5, 1952 in Kiltimagh , County Mayo , Ireland ) is an Irish music manager . He managed and manages Irish bands such as Boyzone , Westlife , Jedward and Bellefire, among others .

Walsh is also a judge on the music talent show The X Factor .

Career

Louis Walsh's career began when he decided to create an Irish version of Take That in the 1990s . Boyzone was established, and under Walsh's leadership she achieved international success. When front man Ronan Keating made the decision to take a break, Walsh managed his solo career. Some time later, Walsh returned to the boy band scheme and formed the band Westlife , which he co-managed with Keating.

In 2004, Walsh was a judge on the talent show The X Factor . After a one-year break in 2015, he continued his work. Most recently he was a juror in the special version The X Factor: Celebrity .
