Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! ( jap. 中 二 病 で も 恋 が し た い! , Eng. "Despite Chūnibyō I want to fall in love!") is a four-part light novel series written by Torako , also available as an anime series ( Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! ) and Movie was implemented.
The book series is about a group of students who have to deal with the strongly pronounced Chūnibyō (syndrome) of the protagonist Rikka Takanashi in a humorous to serious way. Among other things, she builds a romantic relationship with her classmate and actual protagonist Yūta Togashi, who once also suffered from Chūnibyō. The slang expression Chūnibyō ( 中 二 病 , dt. "Eighth graders disease") denotes a kind of adolescent megalomania, in which the person considers himself or herself to be a superhero, chosen one or the like, who fights against evil, as it should typically occur in eighth graders.
