The Gmina wiejska Lubawa is a rural community in the powiat Iławski in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in Poland . It counts 10,711 inhabitants (June 30, 2019) and has an area of ​​236.6 km², 13% of which is forest and 78% of agricultural area. The administrative seat of the rural community is the village Fijewo ( German Fiewo ). It is named after the city of Lubawa ( Löbau in West Prussia ), which it does not belong to as an independent municipality.
