Lubomír Blaha (born March 28, 1978 in Uherský Brod ) is a Czech football player .

Club career

Blaha began playing football for Spartak Uherský Brod, and in his youth he also played for Svit Zlín and Baník Ostrava . In Ostrava , the 1.95 meter tall striker came in the 1997/98 season for his first two appearances in the professional field. In 1999 Blaha was obliged by the then second division club Synot Staré Město , with whom he was promoted to the Gambrinus League .

After a successful first half of the 2001/02 season, Blaha scored six goals in 14 games, he was signed for three million crowns by Sparta Prague . The attacker could not prevail at the top Czech club and moved on to Slovan Liberec after only six months . In Liberec , too , Blaha was unable to match his form from autumn 2001 and was loaned to FK Zlín for half a year in January 2003 . He completed the 2003/04 season on loan from Viktoria Plzen . His hit rate remained low there, too, in 27 games he only managed one goal. For the 2004/05 season, the offensive player returned to Slovan Liberec, but his contract was dissolved there on August 31, 2004.

Blaha moved as a free player to the Scottish club FC Aberdeen , where he came mostly as a substitute to eight missions without having scored a goal. Blaha spent the autumn of 2005 at the Russian second division club FK Kuban Krasnodar , where he was only used three times. In early 2006, the Czech was signed by the Slovak first division club Spartak Trnava for two years. Blaha got off to a strong start and scored several goals in his first appearances. As his form continued to decline, he was sold in January 2007 to the then Czech second division club Viktoria Žižkov . For the Prague club Blaha came three times in the spring of 2007, at the beginning of the 2007/08 season he was only included in the squad of the fourth division B team. During the winter break, he returned to the professional squad and made eight first division appearances as a substitute.

The 2008/09 season began Blaha again with Viktoria Žižkov B, at the end of August 2008 he was loaned to the second division club FK Dukla Prague until the end of the season.

At the beginning of 2010, the striker from Viktoria Žižkov B moved to Austria for SV Gaflenz. In the summer of the same year Blaha was sold to the regional league team SC Ostbahn XI. However, when there was no success there, the attacker moved to SV Oberndorf in early 2011, where he was champion in his first season. At the beginning of 2012, the Czech moved from the Austrian club SV Oberndorf to the 2nd lowest Austrian league for the club ASK Hausmening, for which he scored 8 goals in the first championship games. In summer 2012 the Blaha transferred from Hausmening to SV Jauerling in the lowest league in Austria.
