Luca Tauschmann (born June 26, 1991 in Fürstenfeld ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Tauschmann, who grew up in Altenmarkt near Fürstenfeld , began playing football with the SC Fürstenfeld youngsters . Thanks to his talent, the scouts of the Styrian football academy noticed him and brought him to Graz in 2005 . In 2007 he was taken over to the second team of SK Sturm Graz .

In February 2009 he signed a contract with SK Sturm Graz as a professional footballer and was included in the first team's squad. However, coach Franco Foda did not allow him to play in the Bundesliga . He was only allowed to sit on the substitutes' bench twice.

To get match practice, Tauschmann moved in the summer of 2010, initially on loan, to TSV Hartberg in the first division . He played his first professional game on July 13, 2010 under coach Bruno Friesenbichler in the 4-0 away defeat at SCR Altach . On August 17, 2010, the defender scored his first goal as a professional soccer player in a 3-1 home win against First Vienna FC . In the 3-0 away defeat at SKN St. Pölten on November 19, 2010, Tauschmann had to accept the first red card as a professional from referee Bernhard Brugger .

In the summer of 2012, not only the Hartberger loan contract with Sturm Graz ended, but also the contract between Tauschmann and Sturm Graz, which has now been extended to 2012. Although his goal was to return to SK Sturm Graz, he did not receive a contract offer from the Grazers. Tauschmann then signed a contract with TSV Hartberg, which binds him to the club until summer 2014. The central defender , who had strong headers, had a regular place in the team for the Oststeirern .

After playing more than 100 second division games for Hartberg, he moved to the regional division SC Kalsdorf for the 2014/15 season . In his first season at Kalsdorf, he played 26 games in the Regionalliga Mitte, in which he scored three goals. In the following season he came to 15 league games, in the 2016/17 season he played 22 times in the league.

After three years with Kalsdorf, he joined the league competitor FC Gleisdorf 09 in the summer of 2017 . In the 2017/18 season he played 28 games for the club in the regional league. After a season at Gleisdorf, he moved to fifth-rate FC Schladming for the 2018/19 season .
