Lucas Hernández , full name Lucas Camilo Hernández Perdomo , (born August 5, 1992 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.74 meter tall defensive player Hernández was under contract at the beginning of his career with the Montevideo Wanderers . There he played two games as a substitute in the Primera División in the 2012/13 season . He didn't score a goal. At the end of February 2013, he moved to second division Huracán FC on loan , but returned to Wanderers in July 2013. In the same year he was finally transferred to Club Atlético Cerro in mid-November . There he came in the 2013/14 season to another first division deployment, in which he was the first time in the Primera División in the starting line-up. In the 2014/15 season he was used 16 times (one goal) in the Primera División. During the 2015/16 and 2016 seasons, he made 28 and 15 top division appearances for every two goals scored. At the end of January 2017 he signed on loan from Club Atlético Peñarol , for whom he has played once (no goal) in the top Uruguayan division in the current 2017 season (as of February 9, 2017). After Hernández was permanently taken over by the club in July 2018, he moved to Brazil a year later . In June 2019 Atlético Mineiro announced their commitment. The contract ran until 2022.
