Lucia Kimani (officially Lucija Kimani Mwahiki-Marčetić ; born June 21, 1980 in Kajiado , Kenya ) is a Bosnian long-distance runner of Kenyan origin.

In 2004 she finished second in the Salzburg Marathon and the following year she won this race.

In 2007, starting for Bosnia, her husband's country, she finished fourth in the Vienna City Marathon with the national record of 2:38:21 h. She set two further national records this year as third in the Vidovdan run in the 10 km road race (33:41 min) and in the half marathon (1:12:55 h) as 36th at the 2007 road running world championships .

In 2008 she improved her marathon record as tenth in the Dubai marathon to 2:37:37 h, set a national record in Istanbul with 34: 03.23 minutes on April 12 in the 10,000-meter run and improved second in Vidovdan - Runs her 10 km record in 33:13 min. In the marathon of the Olympic Games in Beijing , she came 42nd and again achieved a national record with 2:35:47 h.

In 2009 she was sixth in the Daegu and fourth in the Podgorica marathon . In addition, as a local hero, she finally managed to win the Vidovdan run in 33:28 minutes.

Lucia Kimani married the Bosnian Siniša Marčetić in 2004 and moved with him to Bosnia-Herzegovina in 2005. The couple have lived in Banja Luka since then .
